At the end of the third quarter Uganda were\nleading by 37-21 , restricting Namibia to just four goals in the quarter. In\nthe final quarter Uganda continued to push themselves from Namibia and ended\nthe game at (49-28)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ugandan goal defence Joan Nampungu was named player of the\nmatch and said that Uganda played better than in the match against South Africa\non Thursday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Namibian coach Julene Meyer was\nimpressed with her team\u2019s performance during the first half but suggests that\nthere is still work to be done.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWhen you get thrown in at the\ndeep end, you learn to swim very quickly\u201d she said as she expressed how it is a\ngreat privilege to play against the world number five and number seven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SCORE BREAKDOWN<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Q1:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Uganda 12 \u2013\n6 Namibia<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>HT:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Uganda 22 \u2013\n17 Namibia<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Q3:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Uganda 37 \u2013\n21 Namibia<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>FT:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Uganda 49 \u2013 28 Namibia<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before Namibia and Uganda took to\ncourt the President\u2019s XII claimed their second victory against the SPAR Baby\nProteas beating them 54 goals to 49.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>President\u2019s XII Goal defence &nbsp;Jeante\u2019 Strydom was named player of the match.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Saturday, 27 March 2021 more tri-nation action took place as Ugandan She-Cranes faced the SPAR Baby Proteas at 16:00pm and the SPAR Proteas took on Namibia again at 18:00pm.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Article by: Pearl Modise The Ugandan She-Cranes defeated the Namibian Debmarine Desert Jewels on Day Two of the SPAR Challenge Tri-nations with a final score of (49-28).
