Now on their last few legs of the JOY tour, MTN Joyous Celebration heads to Sun City, Rustenburg in the North West for a one-night-only concert on Saturday, 03 September.
The JOY tour has been far and wide, both locally and outside South Africa, bringing fans of Joyous a musical experience they will never forget. MTN Joyous Celebration will grace the Superbowl conference center after a series of successful shows that started in Carnival City and moved to Middleburg, Durban, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Gqeberha since the beginning of the year.
“We always put our best foot forward with every season’s offering to show our gratitude for the continued love and support from our fans and supporters; and we aim to stage a highly charged show, as we always do, at the Sun City Superbowl. As the world continues to recover from the devastating effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, ours is to provide that much-needed Joy and spread it as far and wide as we can”, says Dr. Lindelani Mkhize.
As part of sharing the JOY, Joyous is calling on all talented groups or choirs from the Rustenburg and Sun City surroundings areas to enter the “Opening Act” competition by simply sending a video submission in no longer than 5 minutes via WhatsApp on 063 911 0173. The winning choir will get the opportunity to showcase their talent at the Superbowl as an opening act for the MTN Joyous Celebration ensemble.
In addition, the #ShareYourLight online talent search is still running. This year’s edition aims to unlock instrumental musical talent. Aspiring musicians must upload their audition clips on the JoyousTV (joyoustv.com/) platform.
