The Minister of Trade, Industry and Competition, Mr Ebrahim Patel has tested positive for Covid-19. Patel becomes the fourth minister to test positive, joining Gwede Mantashe, Thulas Nxesi who also tested positive.
Minister Patel is currently in self-isolation and will continue to work from home. Minister on the 24 July 2020, participated in the virtual parliamentary budget vote debate on the revised budget for the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition.
