It has taken the Parisians close to 10 years to get into the UEFA Champions final since the arrival of their Qatari owners. A lot of investment has gone into the French side, over 1 billion Euros spent on signings in an attempt to turn the Parisians into a European powerhouse. From the time of their arrival their Qatari owners invested not only in the football side of the team but also in the brand.
Over the past years PSG has been growing as global brand. Notable signings the club made include Lucas Moura, Zlatan Ibrahimović, David Beckham, Javier Pastore, E. Lavezzi, Alex, David Luiz, Thiago Silva, Maxwell, Edison Cavani, Jeremy Menez, Marco Verrati, Angel Di Maria, Neymar, Mbappe & Buffon.
Notable Managers they have had also include, Carlo Ancelloti, Laurent Blanc & Unai Umrey who were meant to help the club dominate the European stage. All these managers dominated the domestic competitions but this was deemed not enough by their ambitious Qatari owners.
