EFF: Stop gambling with kids, close schools

Following the address of the President of RSA, citizens and political parties have responded to the revised level 3 regulations.The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) have vowed to hold President Cyril Ramaphosa accountable for Coronavirus related deaths.

” The decision to sanction 100% loading capacity for all local taxi travel is ill-advised and will lead to surge of infections. The decision to persist in keeping schools open is unethical and cruel social experiment” EFF said.

The Economic Freedom Fighters have called for the immediate closure of schools and warned the risk of gambling with children’s lives. South Africa now falls in the top ten countries across the globe that have recorded high numbers of Covid-19 cases. As of 12 July 2020, South Africa’s Coronavirus cases stands at 276 242, with 4 079 deaths.
